Theory Paper
Total possible points = 15
Instructions
Write a paper responding to the following prompt:
1. Discuss one theory about the origins of extremism/terrorism. There are many different theories ranging from the individual to the society level, religious to secular, and everything in between. Note that this is
not
your
theory but a previously established and researched academic theory that already exists. Use real life examples to discuss both the strengths and weaknesses of this theory.
a. Introducing and explaining the theory should take up no more than one page of your paper.
b. This is a global-focused course therefore your paper should be as well. Your examples should not include the US.
c. The paper must be a balanced one. Do not solely support or discredit the theory.
d. Your evaluation of the theory must be your own. Do not simply parrot existing critiques. Your evaluation needs to be well researched and supported but should consist your own ideas.
Do not include works in your works cited that are not present in the paper. You must APA format for your citations and works cited page. MANY programs will format your citations for you – and we are always happy to introduce you to a few.
You will be submitting your papers through Turnitin and the following rant is because every semester we have a student who thinks they can get away with it.

See full FAQWe complete each paper from scratch, and in order to make you feel safe regarding its authenticity, we check our content for plagiarism before its delivery. To do that, we use our in-house software, which can find not only copy-pasted fragments, but even paraphrased pieces of text. Unlike popular plagiarism-detection systems, which are used by most universities (e.g. Turnitin.com), we do not report to any public databases—therefore, such checking is safe.
We provide a plagiarism-free guarantee that ensures your paper is always checked for its uniqueness. Please note that it is possible for a writing company to guarantee an absence of plagiarism against open Internet sources and a number of certain databases, but there is no technology (except for turnitin.com itself) that could guarantee no plagiarism against all sources that are indexed by turnitin. If you want to be 100% sure of your paper’s originality, we suggest you check it using the WriteCheck service from turnitin.com and send us the report.
