This Template is a guide, please refer to your rubric for all criteria, and feel free to adjust the headings names. This is just an example of how to structure your paper using headings with some content from the rubric.
Type your introduction here. Although the first paragraph after the paper title is the introduction, no heading labeled “Introduction” is used. This is a great place to utilize a scholarly resource, to emphasize why the topic is important.
Choose one of the main topics from the table and then choose one (1) article for review under that main topic. After reading the article chosen from the table answer one (1) of the topic questions listed on the rubric. You will use this in the introduction to complete this rubric criteria.

Article Search
In this section you will locate another article to address your main topic/problem other than the articles listed in the table and the ATI Module. You will discuss your article search here. Please discuss the following discussion criteria.
- Current (less than 5 years) and credible resource
- Database search – terms and methods used
- Number of articles located
- Source outside of ATI module used
Article Findings
You will discuss here the article you found discuss these rubric criteria.
- How it addresses the topic
- Type of research conducted
- Findings of research
- Why this article was chosen
Evidence for Practice
You will discuss here the evidence you found and how this can be used in practice, you can use the article you found and the one chosen from the main topic. Please address these rubric criteria.
- Summary of evidence
- How it will improve practice
- How this evidence will decrease a gap to practice
- Any concerns or weaknesses located in the evidence
Sharing of Evidence
In this section you will need to discuss the following rubric criteria.
- Who would you share the information with?
- How would you share this information?
- What resources would you need to accomplish this sharing of evidence?
- Why would it be important to share this evidence with the nursing profession?
Conclusion
Papers should end with a conclusion or summary. It should be concise and contain no new information. No matter how much space remains on the page, the references always start on a separate page (insert a page break after the conclusion so that the references will start on a new page).
Review major findings in a summary paragraph. Please address these rubric criteria:
- Summarizes the theme of the paper
- Information presented in logical sequence
- All key points addressed
- Conclusion shows depth of understanding of topic

Type your reference here using hanging indent and double line spacing (under “Paragraph” on the Home toolbar ribbon). Refrences in alphabetical order. See your APA Manual and the resources in the APA section of Resources for reference formatting.
